For our Visual Arts & Design sector, we are seeking, as of 1 March 2026, a
Insights into the multilingual support and promotion activities of Pro Helvetia in the Visual Arts division’s various disciplines (visual arts, performance, photography and architecture) from a national and international perspective

Remuneration based on Federal administration guidelines: CHF 2,560 per month (for an 80% position) with a pro rata 13th monthly salary, 5 weeks holidays a year, good social security contributions (e.g. extra-mandatory child allowance)
Pro rata contribution to a Swiss railway half fare card («Halbtax») or a GA travelcard («Generalabonnement»)

Willingness on the part of Pro Helvetia to remove barriers and make workplaces accessible
Independent administrative handling of grant applications and general administrative tasks
Gradual acquisition of the ability to assess grant applications independently
Advising arts practitioners and informing them on the status of their grant applications
Supporting the team in handling the call for applications process
Co-coordinating promotional activities in connection with support measures
Knowledge of arts and culture comparable to what is acquired in studies for a Bachelors’ degree (a university degree is, however, no formal prerequisite for this position)
Overview of contemporary Swiss arts production, e.g. through regular passive or active participation (visiting art spaces, collaborating in projects, etc.)
Interest in cultural policy issues
Initial experience in organisational and administrative work
Structured and reliable manner of working: independent and timely planning and accomplishment of tasks
Ability to communicate successfully in a multilingual environment and competence in writing in English, German, and French or Italian (C1 level in at least 2 of these languages)
